Attention Mechanical Engineering students!

We are looking for 2 summer interns to join our Maintenance/Critical Facilities team.

The Critical Facilities Intern will be assigned to different areas of responsibility within the department to include the mechanical maintainence of the electrical, plumbing, HVAC and Building Controls under supervision of a qualified Building Technician.

You can expect a combination of Research, on-line course review and hands-on work in the Raleigh market!

Intern will be given a chance to present to the group on a topic of their choice at the end of program, and will attend a one-on-one meeting with Direct Supervisor for the intern to provide program feedback and for program improvement.

This internship will provide future engineers with a glimpse of actual plant operations and how they are maintained.


Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

Be part of a dynamic team with interesting projects.
Accountabilities can and may include areas such as research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, as well as technology enhancements and support.

Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking and community service events.

Have a dedicated manager and program manager to help you navigate the bank and the internship program.

Be assigned a project, designed to improve a specific process or solve a problem that you will present at the close of the internship.

Prepare a wrap-up presentation to be shared with the division leader and other key stakeholders in the company to outline your accomplishments and experience during the internship

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience

Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during the time of the summer program)

Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program

Majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Building (Facility) Maintenance

Good Communication skills

Basic computer skills

Ability to read, interpret and follow written instructions

Knowledge of hand tools

Desire to be hands-on in a maintainence capacity

Possess a positive attitude, naturally curious and enjoys collaborating with others

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
