Wake Veterinary Medical Center has a current opening for a full-time, experienced General Practice Assistant/Technician to join our department.
We are hiring for day shifts in this department. Mon-Fri 7:30am-6:00pm and Saturday 8am - 1pm
Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
Responsibilities:
Provide general animal practice wellness and critical care skills to patients.
Provide care to hospitalized animals.
Conduct lab diagnostics as necessary
Take radiographs and assist with imaging procedures.
Place IV catheters and monitor fluid therapy.
Provide client education and animal care skills.
Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician Requirements:
Good technical skills with the ability to work independently or as a team member.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with EzyVet software is a plus.
Previous experience working with animals preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
