Summary:
This position is responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living or Memory Care Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.
This position reports to the Assisted Living or Memory Care Director.
Essential Functions:
o Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders (as applicable), bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
o Follow the schedule of resident's needs set out by supervisor.
o Provide emotional and social support to residents.
o Document daily log of assistance.
o Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
o Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
o Respect residents' confidentiality.
o Familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
o Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
o Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
o Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
o Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
