System & Verification Manager

Description Using a combination of solid leadership, technical understanding, and an eye for optimized processes, manage and grow a team of systems and IV&V engineers to provide IIoT solutions that meet the needs of our customers. This team contributes to the overall design and architecture of the solution, as well as verification and validation of the products and sub-systems developed. Our solutions satisfy the needs of machine builders and plants, and include hardware, firmware and software. The solutions we develop help our customers meet the challenges they face today as well as bring about innovations to anticipate the challenges of tomorrow. The Systems and IV&V (Integration Verification & Validation) Engineering manager will oversee a team of both systems engineers and IV&V test engineers, with the following missions: Systems Engineers: These individuals work hand-in-hand with marketing, architects, design leaders and subject matter experts around the globe. They work with the system teams to define, refine and capture the details of the solution using a defined methodology to create a top-down view of the system. Activities include use case development, sequence diagraming, requirement definition, breakdown structuring, modeling & simulations which complete the inputs to help enable to development teams to create the right solution. IV&V Engineers: These individuals define the test strategy, develop test cases, build an automation framework, write automation scripts and execute tests (manual and automated) to perform black box testing of the products and systems. They are responsible for reporting test progress, writing and verifying defects, and performing product and system integration. The Systems and IV&V manager's mission includes: Oversight of the team of systems engineers and IV&V engineers to meet the needs of the active development projects Provide insights and best practices around model-based systems engineering and IV&V activities and deliverables Drive a culture of quality and time to market through optimized test strategies and focused systems engineering activities Contribute to a global network of Systems Engineers and IV&V communities working together to define global best practices, tool utilization, deliverable and procedure improvements, and leveraging the network of experts to help solve project challenges Manage, maintain and evolve the verification lab Develop application knowledge for industrial solutions, including motor protection, PLCs, Industrial Networks, Industry 4.0, etc. Learn and grow knowledge in IoT solutions & IIoT solutions Qualifications   Qualifications 7+ years' experience in Systems Engineering and/or IV&V of complex systems (hardware, firmware, software and communication protocols) BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent job experience Proven managerial and leadership experience Solid experience in understanding the full life cycle of solution development Understanding IoT and Cloud technologies Experience working with multiple sites and international teams Project management experience developing schedules, budgets, estimations and resource needs Desired Skills Knowledge of systems engineering tools and processes (SysML or UML, Simulation and Modeling, Requirements Management, Change and Defect Management) Knowledge of IV&V tools and processes (Automation tools/platforms, Test Management, Requirements Management, Change and Defect Management) Experience or Exposure to static code analysis tools and methodologies Electrical Distribution and/or Industrial applications Working knowledge of industrial protocols, such as EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, ProfiBus, EtherCat, Modbus TCP, etc.  National or International certifications in Testing or Systems Engineering  004W78

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
